Lin Haiming

Sculptor Lin Haiming fires his celadon forms for seventy-two hours in a wood kiln at the edge of Sanbao valley, letting flame and ash finish each surface. His “River Mist” series treats porcelain as frozen weather — a moment of fog held at 1,300°C.
